TransLogistica Kazakhstan 2026, an international transport and logistics exhibition, is taking place on October 14–16 at EXPO IEC in Astana. ERSAI is participating in the event, showcasing its expertise in port operations and project logistics.
Gaziz Baimukhamedov, General Director of Port ERSAI, spoke at the III Breakbulk Kazakhstan Conference — an industry conference dedicated to oversized and heavy-lift cargo transportation, as well as the delivery of oil and gas, energy and infrastructure projects across Central Asia. Key topics of the session included multimodal solutions along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), the North–South Corridor and other trade routes, risk management in project logistics, and the application of AI and data analytics in the industry.
The exhibition also featured a joint project between ERSAI and Atasu Group — a container terminal at the ERSAI Industrial Port in Kuryk, Mangistau Region. The terminal is being developed as a strategic multimodal container hub at the crossroads of the Caspian Sea’s main trade corridors.
Key specifications:
— container terminal area: 50,000 m²;
— 2 dedicated berths, 155 m each (vessels up to 20,000 DWT);
— 10 km of internal railway tracks, rail yard for up to 300 railcars;
— Phase 1 handling capacity: up to 120,000 TEU per year;
— equipment: 2 RMG cranes, locomotives, reach stackers, trailers, tugboat;
— direct integration with national rail, road and Caspian maritime routes.
ERSAI’s participation in TransLogistica Kazakhstan highlights the company’s role in the development of Kazakhstan’s transport and logistics infrastructure and the strengthening of trans-Caspian trade corridors.
